Calling all St. Leo families in grades K-8! Get ready to show off your knowledge because the Winter iReady Diagnostic Assessment is just around the corner! ️

What is iReady?  It's a personalized academic checkup that helps teachers understand your child's strengths and areas for growth in reading and math.  It's not a test to stress about, but a chance for your child to show off all their hard work!

When is it?  The assessment will run from Monday, January 22nd, 2024 to Friday, February 9th, 2024. Your child's teacher will share specific testing dates and times within their own class. ⏰

Why is it important?  iReady results help teachers:

• Tailor lessons to your child's individual needs
• Monitor progress and celebrate achievements
• Set personalized goals for continued learning

How can you prepare your child?

• Get a good night's sleep before each testing day
• Eat a healthy breakfast to fuel their brains
• Encourage a positive attitude and remind them to do their best!
• Focus on effort, not just results

¡Llamando a todas las familias de St. Leo en los grados K-8! ¡Prepárese para mostrar sus conocimientos porque la Evaluación de diagnóstico Winter iReady está a la vuelta de la esquina! ️

¿Qué es iReady? Es un chequeo académico personalizado que ayuda a los maestros a comprender las fortalezas y áreas de crecimiento de su hijo en lectura y matemáticas. ¡No es una prueba por la cual estresarse, sino una oportunidad para que su hijo muestre todo su arduo trabajo!

¿Cuando es? La evaluación se realizará desde el lunes 22 de enero de 2024 hasta el viernes 9 de febrero de 2024. El maestro de su hijo compartirá las fechas y horarios específicos de las pruebas dentro de su propia clase. ⏰

¿Por qué es importante? Los resultados de iReady ayudan a los profesores a:

Adapte las lecciones a las necesidades individuales de su hijo

Monitorear el progreso y celebrar los logros.

Establezca objetivos personalizados para el aprendizaje continuo

¿Cómo puedes preparar a tu hijo?

Duerma bien por la noche antes de cada día de prueba

Coma un desayuno saludable para alimentar sus cerebros.
