Volunteer Information
All individuals who volunteer in the school must complete Diocesan Virtus Training and a mandated background check. To register for a Virtus workshop, please visit www.virtus.org. Click “First-Time Registrant” in the sidebar and look for workshops offered in the Brooklyn Diocese. For safety reasons, siblings are not allowed to accompany parent volunteers.
Lunch Program
St. Leo Catholic Academy offers a hot lunch program daily. Students may also choose to bring their lunch each day. Students should not bring glass bottles, soft drinks or excessive amounts of candy. Students are expected to use the same manners required in the classroom during lunch. Courtesy toward other students and respect for and cooperation with lunch monitors are in order at all times.
