IREADY ❄️  WINTER ❄️  DIAGNOSTIC BEGINS 1/17/23

Hello Families of Students in Grades (K-8), 

 This is just a reminder that i-Ready testing will begin on Tuesday 1/17/23 and will end on 2/3/2023. I will be administering the iReady diagnostic during my Computer classes and in addition teachers will be administering the diagnostic during their i-Ready periods. I am posting a video as just a reminder of what iReady is and how it works. 

Here are a few other reminders. 

• Please make sure students have working headphones to bring in or if they are already at school, please check with your child or your child's teacher to make sure they work. (No expensive headphones or wireless headphones please) 
• iReady is not a graded exam. It is an assessment to see where your child is in their ELA and Math journey. There is nothing to study for. 
• Your child's teachers will talk to you about the results of the diagnostic at some point during the school year. This may be during parent teacher conferences or before depending on the circumstance.
• Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep every night and comes to school prepared.

EL DIAGNÓSTICO DE ❄️  INVIERNO ❄️  YA EMPIEZA EL 17/01/23

Hola familias de estudiantes en grados (K-8),

 Este es solo un recordatorio de que las pruebas de i-Ready comenzarán el martes 17/01/23 y finalizarán el 03/02/2023. Administraré el diagnóstico iReady durante mis clases de computación y, además, los maestros administrarán el diagnóstico durante sus períodos de i-Ready. Estoy publicando un video como recordatorio de lo que es iReady y cómo funciona.

Aquí hay algunos otros recordatorios.

• Asegúrese de que los estudiantes tengan auriculares que funcionen para traer o si ya están en la escuela, consulte con su hijo o el maestro de su hijo para asegurarse de que funcionen. (Sin auriculares caros o auriculares inalámbricos, por favor)
• iReady no es un examen calificado. Es una evaluación para ver dónde se encuentra su hijo en su viaje de ELA y Matemáticas. No hay nada para estudiar.
• Los maestros de su hijo hablarán con usted sobre los resultados del diagnóstico en algún momento durante el año escolar. Esto puede ser durante las conferencias de padres y maestros o antes, según las circunstancias.
